That's what I did in a first place when I've been building my twitter base. Then, after giving the best I could on twitter and over 20,000+ followers, I took more of an early @scobleizer approach and started following everyone who followed me.
Now, with 60,000+ following it's just too much of a noise and I'm thinking of resetting my account - unfollowing everybody and gather around only the best of who I admire for content they share on twitter.
